We recommend using the mask for 10 – 15 minutes, 3-5 times per week. Feel free to increase your LED treatment time as it is safe to extend the duration from 10 to 15 minutes.

Absolutely, you can use multiple light modes daily, depending on your routine. The Love You Well Mask offers three light modes: Red for anti ageing, Blue for acne, and Amber for pigmentation and other skin conditions like rosacea. If you have the time, you can do red in the morning and blue or amber at night. It truly depends on your self-care routine. For example, I use red 3-4 times a week for 10-15 minutes and sometimes add amber to my routine. You can also colour stack ie (one colour after the other).

Yes, it is safe for children aged 14 and above. There are over 40 clinical studies supporting the use of blue light therapy for children 14+ to combat acne. It's always best to consult with a healthcare professional if you have specific concerns. Also, if you intend on sharing your mask with your teen, be sure to clean it in between use to avoid bacterial contamination.  To clean just use a warm wet cloth.

The Love You Well Face mask comes with eye protection, but if you've got sensitive eyes, closing them is a smart move. While there isn't a huge body of research specifically on the safety of keeping your eyes open with LED masks, general advice often suggests protecting your eyes from direct exposure to intense light. The eye protection is usually sufficient, but if you lean on the sensitive side, it's better to play it safe and close your eyes. Think of it as a mini meditation session, so you can really “reflect” on self-love while caring for your skin!

Irradiance refers to the amount of light energy emitted by the LEDs on the mask’s surface ie brightness.

The Love You Well LED Light therapy Mask has a dimming function on the handheld controller, the higher the brightness the stronger the Milliwatts per square cm (irradiance).

When using an LED face mask at home, especially if you have sensitive skin, it’s important to start with lower irradiance levels to reduce the risk of irritation and gradually increase as your skin becomes more accustomed to the treatment.
