Our LED device is classified as a medical device and has been granted FDA 510(k) clearance—a process that confirms it is “substantially equivalent” to other legally marketed medical devices. This clearance is a gold standard for safety and effectiveness and allows our device to be marketed as a medical device.

In addition to our FDA/510k clearance, our device and manufacturing process are certified under the Medical Device Single Audit Program (MDSAP). This is a globally recognised regulatory program that allows for a single, comprehensive audit to satisfy the requirements of multiple international regulatory authorities—including the U.S. FDA, Health Canada, and Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). This means our device meets stringent safety and quality standards not just in Australia but in the U.S., Canada, Spain, Japan and many other countries worldwide.

We recommend using the mask for 10 – 15 minutes, 3-5 times per week. Feel free to increase your LED treatment time as it is safe to extend the duration from 10 to 15 minutes.

Absolutely, you can use multiple light modes daily, depending on your routine. The Love You Well Mask offers three light modes: Red for anti ageing, Blue for acne, and Amber for pigmentation and other skin conditions like rosacea. If you have the time, you can do red in the morning and blue or amber at night. It truly depends on your self-care routine. For example, I use red 3-4 times a week for 10-15 minutes and sometimes add amber to my routine. You can also colour stack ie (one colour after the other).

Our mask uses 240 high-quality LED diodes, divided into 60 blocks, each with 4 LED beads that emit four wavelengths:

- Red light: 633 nanometres

- Blue light: 460 nanometres

- Amber light: 590 nanometres

- Near-infrared light: 850 nanometres

*Note: nm stands for nanometres, measuring the wavelength of light.

Yes, the plastic is only a protective layer and should be removed before using the mask.

Cleaning your mask is straightforward. Use a gentle, damp cloth to wipe it clean. If you are sharing the mask with others, be sure to clean it between uses.

It’s recommended to use the LED Light Therapy Mask before applying any skincare serums. This is because light therapy can penetrate the skin more effectively when it’s clean and free of any barriers. Using the mask beforehand ensures that your skin maximises the benefits of the light treatment, and then your skincare products can better absorb and enhance the results afterwards.

We suggest using the Love You Well Glow Up Spritzer and Hyaluronic Acid and You’re Ace Vitamin Serum as post-treatment products. These are specially formulated to hydrate and nourish your skin after light therapy, enhancing the reparative and hydrating effects of the treatment. The spritzer provides a refreshing boost, while hyaluronic acid helps lock in moisture for a plump and youthful appearance. We will also be bringing out an all-natural, Australian made skincare line soon.

Yes, it is safe for children aged 14 and above. There are over 40 clinical studies supporting the use of blue light therapy for children 14+ to combat acne. It's always best to consult with a healthcare professional if you have specific concerns. Also, if you intend on sharing your mask with your teen, be sure to clean it in between use to avoid bacterial contamination.  To clean just use a warm wet cloth.

Funnily enough we get asked – why is our LED Mask so affordable.  I assure you we haven’t compromised on quality to offer a reasonable price. I have 25 years of experience in marketing and two decades in the natural skincare industry, we manage everything in-house. Being a family-run business based on the Gold Coast, Australia, we handle marketing, photography, and order fulfilment ourselves, utilising friends and family as models. By minimising outsourcing except for manufacturing, we avoid hefty overheads and agency fees. We also keep our margins modest to help keep a small business like us in the game as we know that the price of basic living and raising kids to so high these days.  My goal was to develop a champagne product that could be offered at a beer price and after two years of development, I’m proud to say I’ve succeeding.

It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge the device. We recommend using your mask for 10 minutes 3-5 times per week, meaning you would only need to charge it 1-2 times per month. Remember, the mask needs to be charged before use, and the charger should only be used with the provided cable, so keep it stored safely in the bag provided.

Yes, the Love You Well LED Light Therapy Mask is covered under a 12-month manufacturer's warranty. The mask and controller are protected for one year from the date of delivery under normal use.

The Love You Well Face mask comes with eye protection, but if you've got sensitive eyes, closing them is a smart move. While there isn't a huge body of research specifically on the safety of keeping your eyes open with LED masks, general advice often suggests protecting your eyes from direct exposure to intense light. The eye protection is usually sufficient, but if you lean on the sensitive side, it's better to play it safe and close your eyes. Think of it as a mini meditation session, so you can really “reflect” on self-love while caring for your skin!

Irradiance refers to the amount of light energy emitted by the LEDs on the mask’s surface ie brightness.

The Love You Well LED Light therapy Mask has a dimming function on the handheld controller, the higher the brightness the stronger the Milliwatts per square cm (irradiance).

When using an LED face mask at home, especially if you have sensitive skin, it’s important to start with lower irradiance levels to reduce the risk of irritation and gradually increase as your skin becomes more accustomed to the treatment.

The irradiance level can be increased and decreased via the controller – there are three irradiance levels for each colour and infrared allowing you to customise your treatment.
